I do not live in Florida. Is it still possible to book you for my wedding?

Not to worry. Many of my clients do not live in Florida. Being based in St Augustine, it is very common for couples to come to this beautiful city to say "i do". I am very comfortable working with out of town clients and frequently meet them for the first time on their wedding day. If you would like to "meet" first, I encourage phone calls and Facetime. I photograph weddings at various venues up and down the first coast from Amelia Island to Palm Coast. If you are local, we can schedule a face to face meeting if you prefer.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes and if your venue requires documentation, I’m happy to provide a certificate from my insurance company.

What kind of equipment do you use? How do you safeguard the images from equipment malfunction?

I use top of the line Sony cameras, lenses and lighting. I will arrive at your wedding with extensive backup gear to ensure there are no lapses in coverage should there be any equipment malfunctions. My camera use dual memory cards, which means there are duplicate copies made of every image I take as I'm shooting.

Upon returning to my desk on the day of your event, all memory cards are uploaded to four separate hard drives and cloud storage.

Do you provide the digital files with our session/wedding?

Yes, all coverage includes a high resolution set of digital files that are suitable for print. Your files will be delivered on a custom flash drive and storage box.

We would love a wedding album. Do you offer those?

Yes. Handmade, heirloom quality albums are available for purchase and included in select collections. Albums can be added at a later date, even after the wedding. Some couples choose to book a collection with coverage and digital files only, in order to secure me for their day. I keep the digital files for all weddings I photograph so it gives you the option to connect with me after the wedding and purchase an album. Parent albums are also available as an add on.

Do you need a list of photos we would like for the wedding day?

The only time during the day that I would like a list is during family and group portraits. I like to approach each wedding with a fresh perspective and photograph it as the events unfold so that no two weddings look exactly the same, because no two couples are exactly the same. My weddings have a blend of natural, unobtrusive images as well as posed photos. My assistant helps organize formal groupings. We like to move through those as quickly as possible so that your guests can enjoy cocktail hour and we have more time to spend on bride & groom portraits.

Do you photograph posed family formals?

Yes. This is the only portion of the day that I request a shot list. Family portraits are an important aspect of the day and I encourage all couples to include them.

How many photos will be in our final gallery?

The number of images in your gallery depends on your wedding. On average, I deliver between 50-100 images per hour of shoot time.

How far in advance should we book our date?

Most brides book approximately 6-18 months in advance but I have booked up to 2 years out. If you would like to guarantee that I am available on your wedding date, I recommend contracting as soon as you decide I am the perfect fit. All dates are considered available unless there is a signed contract and paid retainer.

Do you work with an assistant? Do you use a second photographer?

Yes. My assistant works with me for your entire wedding day. She assists with lighting, gear, organizing formal groupings and anything else that requires an extra set of hands. On occasion, my assistant may photograph a portion of the ceremony. If you feel your wedding might benefit from having a dedicated second shooter, I’m happy to speak with you and help you decide if that is an investment worth making. I encourage potential clients to view several full wedding galleries to see how I capture the entire day.

Do you photograph weddings exclusively?

No. Although the majority of my work is wedding related, I can also be commissioned for family and lifestyle photography as well.

What are your rates?

Wedding coverage begins at $3800.

Portrait sessions begin at $600.

Contact me through my contact form for my commission rates. I have several collections that are most popular but I can customize a collection for you to best suit your needs. A phone consultation is something I encourage to talk about your options and the best collection to fit your needs.

We love your work! How do we secure you for our wedding date?

That's awesome! A signed contract along with a retainer of 1/3 your total collection price is required to reserve your date. Once those two things occur, I'm all yours! The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event.
